A big welcome to Red Rackham, veteran of the British Democracy Forum.

Didn't realise I was already a member here, it seems I joined over two years ago.

It seems to be a quiet forum, although I do recognise several names.

We have our moments on here but by and large it is rather more quiet than the more manic BDF, as it was. Some of whom now frequent www.politicsforum.co.uk in a more subdued way. The owners of that site won't stand for the religious hatred and abuse that made the old BDF notorious.

As you may or may not know I frequented both forums you mention and I have to say I don't recognise the "religious hatred and abuse" you speak of on the BDF, having said that it's up to individual posters whether they respond to posts which are clearly designed to cause a reaction. As for the politics forum, who knows where that's gone!

You wouldn't recognise the religious hatred and abuse simply because you opposed Islam and Muslims. To you, it was the norm.

Are you aware how none muslims are persecuted in some Islamic countries? I don't know what your background is, but I've seen it first hand and it's not pretty. It's what Christianity was like in the dark ages.

Don't you mean "in Muslim countries"? Syria under Assad is not Islamic, for example. Iraq under the former president Saddam Hussein was not Islamic. Libya under Gaddafi was not Islamic. And so on. Most of these were socialist (the Baath party is socialist).

I don't recall the Dark Ages. Before my time.

This forum is a joke. Run by a muslim with issues who's ashamed to say he's a muslim.

No wonder this place is a dead forum.

Issues ... what issues? One of those Americanisms picked up by the English. "He has issues" ... what the phuck are issues?

Ashamed of nothing, old squirt. I just don't dance to your tune and leave myself open.

One thing I learned about forums. They don't really matter because there are more important things in life.

It's not dead. The BDF is dead. Ha Ha Ha Ha!

Three active topics in three months, all started by me, two of which you locked, suggests otherwise.
Don't choke on your beer, old chap.

They were locked because they had "dried up" and became moribund. A rehash of your old atheist platform. You have a talent for being extremely uninteresting. The Religion section is mainly for a positive view of religion and not your dried up repetitive atheistic nonsense.

This forum is not dead. My post this morning is testimony to that fact. I don't touch alcohol.
